Perpetuum Mobile ?

A while ago, I was watching video's on YouTube. On the same day I watched a video with an explanation of a planetary gear system and another one with a Theo Jansen mechanism. With an old Week TechVideo of TechnicBricks still lingering in my mind I got this crazy idea of combining both, and who knows... maybe I'll be able to create a Perpetuum Mobile...
Actually, we all know perfectly well that creating a Perpetuum Mobile is virtully impossible, but hell: let's give it a try...

• Left: the main idea: if the weight on the left side is further off center than the weight on the right side, then gravity will make sure the arm will move downwards on the left.

• Right: I used pneumatic cylinders as weights because I didn't have enough Technic hooks (after all: they have approx. the same weight).

I admit: it's about time I start to add video's of some of my creations...

You silly! What kind of question is that? Of course not!! But you'll have to admit: it's (finally) a nice new creation, though...
