LEGO® Friends

Like most of us, I always look out for the holiday season, but not in 2018... On Christmas Eve (!!) I received the horrible news I had a brain tumor. I needed surgery ASAP because the tumor was already squeezing the optic nerve. At first glance surgery went well and I could leave the hospital after two weeks. A few months later a new brainscan showed that not only the tumor had completely been removed, but also my pituitary... That explained my extremely slow recovery!...
I tried to relax and have a little fun with LEGO, but the first weeks I played less than 30 minutes a day (divided throughout the day). I just couldn't concentrate because of a serious headache... In the end it took me more than 3 months to finish a new mosaic that I normally would have done in just 3 weeks...
The backing of the mosaic is the same that was used for my K3-mosaic. I just added the 'Friends' logo to fill the area...

Thank God I'm still here... able to update my website once in a while...
